Global Vaquero Distinction

International Study Programs collaborates with all UTRGV colleges and faculty to create enriching global academic and research experiences for students on campus and abroad. The Global Vaquero Distinction (GVD) is designed to foster intellectual and personal growth to prepare students to be leaders in the Rio Grande Valley and the world.

On completion, you will be invited to a GVD ceremony and receive a GVD certificate signed by the Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs and the Vice Provost of ISP along with a GVD sachet, and cord.
