Welcome
We offer a BS in Cyber Security and an MS in Informatics in hybrid mode to facilitate access to the programs from other campuses. (hybrid mode: face-to-face classes in Brownsville and OSYNC for others with exams in Brownsville & Edinburg).
The department also offers a Minor in Cyber Security, three Undergraduate Cyber Security Certificates, and a Graduate Certificate in Informatics, and a Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security. All of these are offered in hybrid mode. The department offers advanced technical electives (CYBI 3101 Certification and CYBI 4301 Certification) to convert industry certifications, such as Networking+, Security+, Linux+, CISSP, CISM, CISA, NCSF, CCSP, CHFI, GFCE, CCE, GIAC, GCIH, GOSI, GEVA, DSOF, CIPP, CIPM, CEBP, and CEH, into college credit.
