Individual Counseling

Individual counseling is a confidential one-on-one intervention with a counselor. There is no preset limit to the number of counseling sessions available for every student. The therapist along with the student will determine the duration and frequency of sessions during the initial evaluation and treatment planning phase. Sessions usually last 45 to 50 minutes and meet weekly or biweekly, depending on the treatment plan. Examples of problems worked on are listed below along with links to self-help information.
