Is regalia required to sit in faculty seating during Commencement?
Regalia is required for all faculty intending to sit in faculty seating at Commencement.
Any faculty who will be attending commencement but are not planning to sit in the faculty seating, will need to be a ticketed guest of a graduating student.
Can faculty bring guests to Commencement?
Due to limited seating, faculty attending Commencement are not authorized to bring additional guests, including minor children, spouses, or extended family. If special accommodations are needed, please contact facultyaffairs@utrgv.edu.
How can faculty order for regalia?
Faculty who ordered regalia by the deadline of Sunday, March 23, 2025, will be able to pick up their regalia at their preferred campus store location in Brownsville or Edinburg beginning the week of Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
