Graduate certification rates demonstrate an average of at least 75% pass rate on the Board of Certification (BOC) examinations for graduates who take the exam within the first year of graduation, based on the most recent three-year period.

Student Learning Outcomes

  1. Upon completion of the Medical Laboratory Science program, students will demonstrate entry level knowledge and skills in hematology. 
  2. Upon completion of the Medical Laboratory Science program, students will demonstrate entry level knowledge and skills in medical chemistry. 
  3. Upon completion of the Medical Laboratory Science program, students will demonstrate entry level knowledge and skills in immunohematology. 
  4. Upon completion of the Medical Laboratory Science program, students will demonstrate entry level knowledge and skills in clinical microbiology.  
  5. Upon completion of the Medical Laboratory Science program, students will demonstrate entry level knowledge and skills in urinalysis and body fluids.  
  6. Upon completion of the Medical Laboratory Science program, students will demonstrate entry level knowledge and skills in immunology.
