Instructor Bio

Claudia Lemus-Campos

Claudia V. Lemus Campos is the Communications & Marketing Director for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD, where she oversees a team of over 15 communications professionals. She has more than 10 years of experience leading strategic communications, marketing campaigns, and content initiatives that connect communities and drive engagement. Throughout her career, she has spearheaded award-winning campaigns recognized at both the state and national levels.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a concentration in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Texas-Pan American, as well as a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication & Innovation and a Certificate in Advanced Digital & Social Media from Texas Tech University. Claudia also earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR), demonstrating her commitment to the highest standards of strategic communication practice.

Yaw Sam

Yaw Sam is a marketing strategist, educator, and entrepreneur with over 6 years of experience helping brands grow through content and social media. He is the CEO of Brand Geniuz, a Texas-based content marketing agency that has worked with law firms, nonprofits, and home service businesses across the state. Yaw holds an MBA in Marketing from UTRGV, where he also serves as an adjunct lecturer in Social Media and E-Marketing.
In 2024, he delivered a TEDx talk titled “Small Actions Build Brands,” where he shared how everyday value-driven interactions can shape powerful personal and business brands. Originally from Ghana, Yaw blends global perspective with real-world strategies to help others build influence without selling.
