Child Protection Training

We are committed to providing a safe environment for youth to grow, learn, and have fun. This training is designed for personnel working with minors, equipping them with the knowledge to recognize and address the serious risk of child abuse. Our goal is to ensure the safety of children while fostering a nurturing and caring atmosphere. Through this training, we aim to engage you in effective strategies for identifyingm, preventing, and reporting child abuse and neglect.

Instructions on how to complete the University of Texas System Youth Protection Training will be emailed to Designated Individuals whom are listed by a Camp Director on the Compliance portal of Ideal-Logic.

All staff that is participating in a youth program must successfully complete the state-approved training on warning signs of sexual abuse and child molestation (and any related examination) compliant with Section 51.976, Texas Education Code prior to engaging with minors.
