Program Information
Course Credit
As a participant in the Dual Credit program, it is your responsibility to confirm that you are enrolled in the correct courses. If you plan to take Advanced Placement exams or community college courses, you should consider the credits you may potentially receive to avoid duplicating courses. The first step is to meet with your high school counselor to discuss options.
Credit hours taken at UTRGV will transfer to all other public institutions of higher learning in Texas; however, you should determine if they will help you fulfill the requirements for your particular degree plan. For private and out-of-state public colleges and universities, we recommend that you connect the potential institution to verify their policies.
