Q: How do we donate?

Q: Can we donate when we pick up the bags?
A: Yes, you can donate when you pick up your produce, or you can text the word, “give” to the number 833-993-0498 and you will receive a secure link to input your credit or debit card information and choose the amount you wish to donate
Q: Where are the locations on the Edinburg & Brownsville Campus that I can pick up the Produce?
A: Edinburg: It will be available at the BSM Global Blends Parking Lot, 1605 W. Schunior St. (across from UREC)
Brownsville Campus: it will be at Interdisciplinary Academic Building Courtyard, BINAB (One West University Blvd.) from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays starting April 17th, 2020, until the season ends
Q: Are you practicing safe distancing?
A: Yes, all safe distancing measures will be followed strictly
Q: Do I need to produce my UTRGV ID and or Student ID to be able to pick up the Produce Bags?
A: Yes, since this initiative is focused on enhancing access to locally grown fresh produce to the campus community, we will be asking for proof.
Q: How can I contact the local farmers if I wish to have my family and friends purchase them directly from the farmers?
A: You’ll find the farmer’s listing on this page that you can download and share with your network. We do not take responsibility for farmer’s actions or their direct service to you. This is being shared as a resource only.
