The Department of Facilities Planning will provide leadership and management for the acquisition, planning, design, and construction of all campus buildings and spaces to create functional and aesthetically enhancing environments that support the University's mission while meeting all regulatory requirements related to the health, safety and welfare of our faculty, staff, students, and visitors.

The Information Security Office (ISO) is responsible for the UTRGV Information Security Program and shall work in partnership with the University community, constituency groups, and leadership to establish effective and secure processes and information systems and to promote information security as a core Institutional value.

The Department of Information Technology Services, an integral strategic partner of our academic institution, is dedicated to advancing the university's mission. As a vital component of the university's administrative framework, we strive to provide comprehensive technological support, innovative solutions, and a secure digital environment that enhances the learning, research, and operational excellence across all facets of our campus community.

The planning and analysis office reports to the senior vice president for finance and planning. It is a ten-person team with many years of experience in higher education budgeting, accounting, and information systems. We take great pride in the work we do and how it can positively affect the success of UTRGV students.

The Procurement Office strives to provide efficient, responsive and cost-effective procurement related services to University departments with exceptional customer service and with the highest standards of ethics. In the daily execution of procurement activities, the Procurement Office strives to provide a balance between price, value, quality, delivery and service in compliance with State, Federal Statutes, as well as established Regents' Rules and Regulations.
