Bio

Hello, it's nice to meet you all! Let me tell you some of my background.

Since growing up, I've had an interest in mathematics, a fascination for technology, and a passion for helping and educating others. I have a combined Education, IT and Mathematics background. In 2020 and 2021, I worked as a Computer Science Tutor in our university's Learning Center, in 3 semesters. In Summer I 2021 - Fall 2022, I also worked as a Teaching Assistant (or T.A) for our Computer Science Department, in 6 semesters. I also became a Part-Time Non Student (Non-Student TA) for Spring 2023, which my task was to practice in lecturing a big class in the lab day for Computer Science 1 with Gustavo Dietrich. I can share you more experience on my previous jobs if you like. When it comes to educating, I like to say "If you understand the foundations, you can do more complex things". This means that if you can grasp the absolute basics of a subject, you'll be able to do more, with your acquired knowledge. If one doesn't know the basic operations of maths, they may struggle in life with things like budgeting and cooking. If one doesn't know how to navigate and use technology, they may struggle to reach out, connect and socialize, in our modern age of gadgetry. I aim to help my students understand these basics, so they can have a better quality-of-life. I like to adapt to the individual students' learning style. In-example, that means if a student understands things better with visual cues, I'll use them. When helping people out or solving problems, I like opportunities to use my Mathematics and Technology knowledge.

I'm also autistic (Asperger's Syndrome). I understand at least some of the struggles of being autistic and going through the college life or even in life in general. I try a lot to help my students at least. May God Bless You All!
