Bio

Hello and welcome to my faculty page. I teach a number of core undergraduate computer science courses at UTRGV. I am particularly interested in helping students learn the fundamental concepts of computer science. I serve as the Program Coordinator for the CS Mentoring Program. I am always looking for ways to improve computer science education here at UTRGV. I work closely with other faculty members in our department to make sure our undergraduate students receive the best possible education. I am actively involved in promoting computer science education in high schools of the Rio Grande Valley. I also chair the annual High School Programming Contest held at UTRGV each Spring semester. Please contact me if I can be of any assistance to you.
