Bio
Dr. Dongchul Kim received his B.S. degree from the Department of Computer Science at Kyungsung University, Korea, in 2003, B.B.A. degree from the Department of Trade and Commerce at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, 2001, and M.S. and Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science in University of Texas at Arlington, in 2007 and 2014. He works as an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science, University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. His research interests include machine learning, pattern recognition, and Bioinformatics. Currently, he focuses on biomarker discovery, biological network inference, and drug design.
