Title: A One-Session Treatment for Dental Phobia in Youth in an Underserved Population.

Description: Although dental phobia is widespread and may lead to major short- and long-term health complications, scant research has examined evidence-based interventions for dental phobia in youth. Thus, this project will develop, and assess, a one-session culturally-appropriate treatment for children and adolescents in south Texas. Project findings, and their generalization, will help combat health disparities in the area.
