Research Assistants (RAs) are an integral part of the Behavioral Health Lab research team. RAs assist with projects’ development, literature reviews, data collection, data entry, data analyses, and dissemination of findings. Depending on their level of involvement and type of work, some RAs will be co-authors on conference presentations and research papers.

We are interested in working with RAs who are responsible, highly motivated, and willing to learn through constructive feedback. Ideally, we would like RAs to make at least a 2-semester commitment to the lab and to work at least 8 hours per week in the lab.

If you are interested in volunteering as an RA in the Behavioral Health Lab, please complete an Application for Research Assistant. This application is in a fillable PDF format. You can access the application here.

After you complete the application, please email the file to behavioralhealthlab@utrgv.edu. Applicants being considered for an RA position will be contacted for interviews.
