Research Goals
Welcome to the Behavior and Child Development Lab!
We are located in the border region of Rio Grand Valley, in South Texas. We opened our doors in the Fall of 2019, and since then our lab has grown never leaving behind our desire to raise awareness and improve the lives of those with ASD and their families.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to produce top-tier autism research to better the lives of the Latino/a community in the Rio Grande Valley (RGV).
Our Goals
- Conduct clinical research that incorporates diagnostic and intervention services to meet the needs of an underserved population
- Increase community involvement and stakeholder participation, which are essential to increase research integrity and relevance
