The Behavior and Child Development Lab lab started operations in the Fall of 2019 at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Our goals involve innovative studies in the Autism Spectrum Disorders field by exploring the current diagnostic tools, procedures, and services for autism children in Latino and Spanish speaking populations.

We are the Behavior and Child Development Lab (BeChilDLab). We research Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and explore current diagnostic tools and services for Latino and Spanish-speaking autistic children. We work towards increased awareness and greater understanding of ASD in the Rio Grande Valley.
