Soundscapes

microphones for recording bird sounds

This page is dedicated to capturing audio snapshots of various ecological communities.  Birdsong fills most airways especially early in the morning and is an exciting area of community ecology research. We continue to collect such recordings from North and South America for ecological research, but also enjoy sharing them as ambience when you sleep in, can’t hear real birds or just want to relax. Try them out on long road or air trips and watch the miles go by. Enjoy!
