The Veterans Business Outreach Center at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley provides business training, counseling, technical assistance, and mentoring to veterans, reservist, National Guard, and active duty personnel.
The Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) is designed to provide entrepreneurial development services such as business training, counseling and mentoring, and referrals for eligible veterans owning or considering starting a small business.
The UTRGV Veterans Business Outreach Center is fully funded through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. Reasonable arrangements for persons with disabilities will be made, if requested at least two weeks in advance. Assistance for the hearing impaired can be attained by calling the TDD at (956) 665-5071.
