ADM 3-300

Sexual Harassment and Sexual Misconduct

Title IX prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in educational programs or activities; Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII) prohibits sex discrimination in employment; and the Campus Sexual Violence Elimination Act (SAVE Act).

 

ADM 3-400

Consensual Relationships

Two consenting adults should be free to conduct a personal relationship if they so wish when the relationship does not interfere with the goals and policies of UTRGV; however, some romantic, dating, or sexual relationships, although consensual, do create conflicts of interest. This policy addresses those consensual relationships.

 

STU 02-100 Student Conduct and Discipline

This policy provides students fair notice of conduct considered unacceptable at UTRGV and which may be the basis for disciplinary action. This conduct listed is not intended to be a complete list of conduct punishable by disciplinary action. This policy provides procedures to be followed when student disciplinary action may need to be and outlines the appeals process.

 

STU 01-400 Notification Regarding Missing Resident Students

This policy creates a protocol for reporting, and the subsequent procedures for responding, to a report that a residential student at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) is missing, as well as to comply with the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008.

ADM 04-109 Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace

This policy sets forth UTRGV’s policy concerning the manufacture, sale, possession, distribution, or use of alcohol or illegal drugs.

ADM 10-103 Alcoholic Beverages

This policy provides regulations for the sale, service, possession, and consumption of alcoholic beverages on (UTRGV facilities and on property leased, owned, or controlled by UTRGV, including all annexes and off-campus property.

N/A Drug-Free School and Communities Notice

UTRGV is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the campus community. Alcohol and other drugs should not interfere with the University’s educational mission. All UTRGV students, faculty members, staff members, administrators, and visitors are subject to local state, and federal laws regarding the unlawful possession, distribution, or use of alcohol or illegal drugs.
