“Agricultural Waste Management systems and On Farm Energy Conservation along with our career experiences"

Time: 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Location: Online at https://utrgv.zoom.us/j/568218953

Description:

Join us for this installment of our Modern Agriculture Awareness Series.

Traditional Agriculture is often thought of as low tech, hard manual labor.

Modern Agriculture has evolved into much more sophisticated, high tech systems. This switch must be embracedif we are going to help the next generation feed one and a half times this planet's population while maintaining out natural resources.

If you are interested in joining us to figure out how we will feed the planet, come meet some like-minded faculty and students.

USDA's Catherine Stanley, E.I.T. and Cherie LaFleur, P.E. from the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Serivce (NRCS) - Texas will be visiting campus to give a talk on their work and career path as well as meeting with interested faculty and students on March 30, 2021.

Their talk is titled "Agricultural Waste Management Systems and On-Farm Energy Conservation Along with our Career Experiences" and will be held 12:30  to 1:30 p.m. online at https://utrgv.zoom.us/j/568218953.

Anyone who is interested in meeting with the speaker for 30 minutes conversation slots can contact Joanne Rampersad, joanne.rampersadammons@utrgv.edu.
