Mission

The Department of Organization and School Leaderships mission is to continuously improve leadership development through teaching, research, and service that includes the cultural and linguistic history of the Texas Mexico border.

Vision

The Department of Organization and School Leadership will be nationally recognized in the preparation of educational leaders to transform schools into culturally responsive learning communities.

We strive to prepare educational leaders who will transform educational institutions into better places for all individuals, regardless of age or background. By imparting the knowledge, skills, and values necessary for success, we aim to make a lasting impact on the field of education and contribute to the betterment of society.

Master of Education in Educational Leadership

Program Modality: Online

The Master’s degree in Educational Leadership is designed to build forward-thinking schoolteachers into leaders and administrators who can provide leadership in various educational settings and are competent in management, organization, school law, finance, and contemporary personnel practices.

Students will learn how to effectively direct and advocate for academic excellence and lead positive change in today's schools with a particular focus on students from multicultural backgrounds and English language learner (ELL) populations.
