The College of Education and P-16 Integration Department of Organization and School Leadership has a diverse faculty with vast experience in practice, teaching, research and service, who work diligently to serve our students.
UTRGV’s Leadership Advisory Committee consisting of Superintendents, Central Office Administrators, Principals, school board members and community leaders meeting to enhance educational leadership program’s curriculum, course content, instructional practices, and field-based experiences. For graduates to have the latest knowledge and skills required for critical issues impacting education today.
UTRGV is a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) with the Hispanic Serving College of Education Special Interest Research Group (HSI SIRG) initiative supporting faculty and students for a pathway to educational success.

The UTRGV College of Education and P-16 Integration Educator Preparation Program is nationally accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) meeting the rigorous CAEP Accreditation Standards to better prepare the teachers of tomorrow to succeed in a diverse range of classrooms.
