What is the Mathematics and Science Academy (MSA)?
The Academy is a 100% online program for high school students who are gifted in mathematics and science. Students take classes from UTRGV faculty with UTRGV students. The difference is in the Academy experience where students are provided more support and guidance than traditional college students.
What student services are available?

- Supplemental seminars on time management, note-taking, and study skills
- Dedicated Counselors
- Confidential assistance to handle the transition from high school to college
What are the graduation requirements?
Students must complete 26 high school credits and maintain a minimum 2.7 UTRGV grade point average (GPA).Where do Academy graduates attend college?
