About the Information Security Office

The Information Security Office (ISO) is responsible for the UTRGV Information Security Program and shall work in partnership with the University community, constituency groups, and leadership to establish effective and secure processes and information systems and to promote information security as a core Institutional value.

Our Mission

The mission of the Information Security Office is to provide support to the University in achieving its goals by ensuring the security, integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information resources. The role of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is to maintain oversight and control of the enterprise information security program of the University.
