Summer 2025 Housing
Requirements
Summer Housing is only available to students in the following groups:
- Student with active housing application and room assignment in fall/spring preceding the summer session
- Participating in Special Populations
- UTRGV Athletics Sports
- College Bridge Programs
- Department approved Conference or CAMP
Summer housing is not available for new students attending UTRGV. New students applying for housing must apply for housing at the beginning of the academic year during the fall term. Exceptions may be requested by emailing home@utrgv.edu and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Locations
Students enrolling for Summer Sessions can request to stay in one of our on-campus apartments. Each apartment houses up to four students. The apartments are fully furnished with air conditioning, full kitchens and utilities.We have apartments available in Edinburg at The Village Apartments and Brownsville at The Casa Bella Apartments.

* A meal plan purchase is required for Summer I & II sessions for all locations.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Are there any cancellation fees?
- The department does not assess any early termination (cancellation) fees if you do not take occupancy of the room. Once a student takes occupancy of the room there is no refund of room charges.
- Do I have to stay for all the summer sessions?
- Students will stay for each contract period they apply for only.
