Residence Hall Association (RHA)

The UTRGV Residence Hall Association (RHA) is a student-led organization whose purpose is to provide a sense of community, leadership development opportunities, and community engagement for the students that live in UTRGV housing communities.

The Residence Hall Association (RHA) serves as a representative body that speaks for a thriving community that values and celebrates individuality. Our ultimate goal is to create a unified organization that values and understands diversity. We encourage our members to collaborate as one team to enhance the living experience in residence halls across campus. Finally, we encourage members to work together to provide a united team in order to achieve our goal of improving residence halls campus-wide.

Our mission of RHA includes:

  • Leadership development
  • Community engagement
  • Vaquero Spirit

The objective of RHA is to promote residential communities that provide residents with programs that encourage community, communication, education, leadership development, and engagement as well as to provide a forum for residents to voice ideas, opinions, and concerns.
