a. If a due date falls on a weekend or University approved holiday, proposals and approvals will be accepted through the end of the following business day. b. Department chairs and College Committee Chair approvals (if applicable) must occur before the Dean’s approval. |
The Graduate and Undergraduate Committees accept the proposal types below during the academic year. Implementation of changes to existing programs and courses will generally be applied the next catalog year. New programs will be implemented when all external approvals (as applicable) are obtained. Curriculum changes take up to two months to build in all university systems such as Banner, DegreeWorks, and Change of Major portals. Proposals presented in March and April will not be available when the fall 2024 application and registration cycle begins. To avoid delays in implementation, proposers are encouraged to submit curriculum forms as early as possible in the catalog.
