The University offers a bachelor of science (B.S.) degree in engineering technology.
Engineering Technology is a multidisciplinary program that provides a strong engineering technology background combined with the opportunity to specialize in one or more technology areas. Graduates possess the critical thinking skills and knowledge of various engineering technologies that are highly valued assets to employers in a wide variety of industries.
Coursework includes an engineering technology core that combines laboratory experiences with courses in engineering technology, mathematics, and science. In addition, students complete a concentration in one (or more) of the following areas:
- Design Graphics Technology
- Renewable Energy Technology
- Robotics and Automation Technology
- Nanotechnology
Students also will be provided with the knowledge in critical thinking, leadership, and interpersonal and communication skills.
The department offers small class sizes, which allow for individual attention. Coursework is centered in the state-of-the-art laboratories filled with up-to-date equipment and supplies.
