Welcome to the website for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas - Rio Grande Valley

We serve over 600 undergraduate and graduate students through our bachelor's and master's degree degree programs,  with course offerings, teaching facilities, and research labs at both the Edinburg and Brownsville campuses.  Our alumni are successful in in a wide variety of industry and government careers. Our undergraduate degrees are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET,  http://www.abet.org.
