Undergraduate Certificates in Cyber Security

The Department of Informatics and Engineering Systems offers a BS in Cyber Security in hybrid mode to facilitate access to the programs from other campuses. (hybrid mode: face-to-face classes in Brownsville and OSYNC for others with exams in Brownsville & Edinburg).

Three undergraduate certificates stackable towards earning BS in Cyber Security are available. This is to benefit students attain college credentials even if they are unable to complete or don't want to pursue a college degree. Additionally, a student may continue to complete the intended degree while earning certificates or continue with the degree after earning certificates. Cyber Security Systems Certificate
Cyber Security Advanced Certificate

After completing the three undergraduate certificates, one only has a semester worth of remaining hours in the core of the Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security degree.
