All active participants will perform with a cello ensemble of their choice and level of experience


Natalie Haugeberg

  • Master Class. Saturday. April 6 (best for cellists grade 6-8)
  • Junior Ensemble. Saturday, April 6 (best for students grade 7-9 or 2-4 years playing experience)

Patrick Hopkins

  • Master Class. Saturday, April 5 (best for cellists grade 8 and above)
  • “Introduction to Etudes”.  Saturday, April 6 (open to all, but best for cellists grade 8 and above) - bring your cello!
  • Pro Ensemble. Saturday, April 6 (for professional teachers and performers, adult amateurs, and college students)

Tido Janssen

  • Master Class. Saturday, April 5 (best for cellists grade 8 and above)
  • “Intonation for String Players”.  Saturday, April 6 (open to all, but best for cellists grade 8 and above) - bring your cello!
  • Pro Ensemble. Saturday, April 6 (for professional teachers and performers, adult amateurs, and college students)

Bongshin Ko

  • Master Class. Friday, April 5 (for college students only)
  • “Artistic Performance: Legato Fingering”. Saturday, April 6 (best for grade 9 and up) - bring your cello!
  • Senior Ensemble. Saturday April 6 (best for advanced grade 9-12 students with at least 4 years playing experience)

 Efrain Munguia

  • Master Class. Thursday, March 24 (best for cellists grade 6 and above)
  • “Preparation for All-Region: a workshop for next year's 7th and 9th graders”.  Saturday, March 26 (open to all, but geared towards students auditioning for the first time for MS or HS all-region) - bring your cello!
  • Novice Ensemble. Saturday, April 6 (best for students grade 6-7 or 1-2 years playing experience)

Julian Schwarz

  • Master Class. Thursday, April 4 (for college students only)
