Woman Owned Small Business Seminar (WOSB)
Targeted for woman owned small businesses, this seminar will introduce you to the eligibility and application requirements the federal government uses to award set-aside contracts to qualified vendors. This program:
- Levels the playing field for WOSBs to compete for and win federal contracts
- Provides procuring agencies a tool to help meet their WOSB contracting goal (i.e., the Federal government must award 5% of its prime contracting dollars to WOSBs)
- Ultimately, the program helps create and retain more jobs for WOSBs
Don't miss out on what PTAC can help your business achieve!
HUB Zone/8(a)
What is an 8(a) certification and do I need it to sell to the state and federal government? The federal government, state agencies and universities are constantly looking to work with businesses certified as HUBs. Everyday, millions of dollars in opportunities are being offered.
Learn the qualifications of each program and find out if it is right for your business, how it can benefit your sales and generate new business cash flow.
General Services Administration (GSA)
The U.S. General Service Administration is the centralized procurement agency for the federal government offering products, services and facilities that federal agencies need to serve the public. GSA offers businesses the opportunity to sell billions of dollars worth of products and services to federal agencies.
Seminar attendees will learn what GSA buys, how it buys and where to look for federal business opportunities. This seminar is especially recommended to those businesses that have applied or are in the process of applying for their 8(a) or HUB Empowerment Zone certification.
