What could I do with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology?

On behalf of our faculty, staff and students, I welcome you to learn about our discipline and our program. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me. I hope to see you in our program and wish you success in your future endeavors. The Anthropology Program at UTRGV consists of 9 full-time faculty members. It offers a B.A. in anthropology and M.A.I.S (Master of Interdisciplinary Studies) with a concentration in anthropology as well as a popular undergraduate minor. Anthropology faculty conduct research and publish on a range of topics, including archaeology, race and ethnicity, immigration, religion, gender, family, and health. The program supports an active Anthropology Club and a chapter of Lambda Alpha, the International Anthropology Honor Society. We invite you to learn more about our academic programs and our faculty and students.
