Ms. Monica Garcia-Ramirez brings over 28 years of experience as an administrative professional, having served in a variety of roles that reflect her versatility, leadership, and dedication to service. Since 2002, she has held key positions within the Division of Academic Affairs at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), including Program Coordinator, Senior Administrative Assistant, and Administrative Manager.
Ms. Garcia-Ramirez currently serves as an Administrative Manager for the Office of the Provost at UTRGV. In this role, she is responsible for coordinating daily operations and supporting key personnel and departmental functions for the office. She is responsible for having a proven track record in managing administrative operations, streamlining procedures, and applying effective business management practices.
Ms. Garcia-Ramirez holds an Associate of Applied Science in Office Administration and Legal Administrative Assisting degree from the Executive Secretarial School in Dallas, Texas. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her strong communication abilities, collaborative approach, and commitment to operational excellence.
