David Trevino
Mr. David Trevino brings nearly a decade of experience in teaching and mentoring at Triumph Public High Schools, a statewide public charter network. In addition to teaching mathematics, he led Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses in Accounting and Business Information Management. His educational career also included roles in teacher leadership, student mentorship programs, serving as a student council sponsor, and coordinating college entrance exam preparation initiatives.
In 2024, Mr. Trevino transitioned from education to accounting, joining The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) as an Accounting Technician in the Office of the Provost. In this role, he supports financial operations through responsibilities in budgeting, accounting, financial recordkeeping, and reporting.
Mr. Trevino is a proud alumnus of UTRGV’s legacy institution, The University of Texas-Pan American (UTPA), where he earned a BBA in Finance in 2006. He is currently expanding his technical skillset by completing Intermediate and Advanced Excel courses, with a focus on improving efficiency and streamlining processes.
