Undergraduate Students
The Trauma and Anxiety Disorders lab accepts undergraduate students as research assistants (RAs) who are motivated, responsible, and reliable individuals. RAs can be involved in literature reviews, data collection, data entry and management, data analysis, and presentations. Depending on their levels of motivation and experience, RAs can engage in first-author projects focusing on topics within the domains of trauma and anxiety disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Can work 6-9 hours/week between 9 am to 5 pm at the Edinburg location
- Can commit to the lab at least two consecutive semesters
- Enthusiastic about research
- Responsible, reliable, and self-disciplined
- Completed at least two psychology courses
- GPA at least 3.0
Preferred
- Completion of a statistics course
- Completion of a research methods course
