Applicants Eligibility:
- TexPREP I (Level 1): Engineering Design, Logic & Algebraic Reasoning
Onboarding Course – Foundational for Level 2-4
Prerequisites: Currently enrolled in 6th, 7th, or 8th.
- TexPREP (Level 2): Engineering Physics & Integrated Algebra
TEA Accredited – 1 CTE credit.
Prerequisites: Currently enrolled in 9th grade or higher and completed Algebra I or successfully completion of TexPREP I.
- TexPREP (Level 3): Probability & Statistics for Engineers
TEA Accredited – 1 CTE credit.
Prerequisites: TexPREP II or Algebra 2
- TexPREP (Level 4): Innovations in Engineering
TEA Accredited – 1 CTE credit.
TexPREP III or Chemistry
Additional Eligibility:
- All applicants must have a minimum grade of a “B” in their math course and an overall “B” average in all courses for the first semester average of the current year.
- Submit an essay, recommendation forms, current report card, completed application, etc.
- Score a 70 or better on TexPREP math placement exam.
