The UTRGV School of Accountancy provided me with various resources and opportunities to develop my accounting knowledge. Specifically, the MACC courses allowed me to gain a high-level understanding of critical accounting issues and concepts.
I have been able to apply the concepts from the MACC courses to my accounting career. In addition, the accelerated route allowed me to obtain my degree within a short period and start on the CPA exam. Moreover, the MACC program faculty offered mentorship outside of the classroom, which allowed me to develop professionally.
