Entry-Level Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) Degree
The Occupational Therapy Department offers a 3.5-year entry-level Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) degree.  UTRGV provides the entry-level Occupational Therapy Doctorate on the Edinburg campus in Edinburg, Tx.  The application deadline is November 1.

The Texas Higher Educational Coordinating Board (THECB) and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) have approved the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Entry-Level Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) degree program.  The Occupational Therapy Program has been granted Candidacy Status through the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).   New admissions to the master's degree program are no longer accepted.
