RIO GRANDE VALLEY, TEXAS – DEC. 16, 2025 – This holiday season, The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley is celebrating more than 3,500 prospective graduates who will receive the gift of their college diplomas during two days of commencement ceremonies.
The Fall 2025 Commencement ceremonies will take place on Dec. 19-20 at Bert Ogden Arena, located at 4900s I-69C in Edinburg. This momentous occasion not only marks the academic achievements of the graduates but also commemorates UTRGV’s 10 years of excellence in the Rio Grande Valley.
Ceremony Schedule:
Friday, Dec. 19, 2025
- 10 a.m. – College of Fine Arts, College of Sciences, and College of Education and P-16 Integration
- 4 p.m. – School of Social Work and College of Liberal Arts
Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025
- 10 a.m. – College of Engineering and Computer Science, and Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship
- 4 p.m. – College of Health Professions and School of Nursing
