RIO GRANDE VALLEY, TEXAS – The UTRGV Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has created the Young Alumni Pass, an opportunity for spring 2020 UTRGV graduates to get one free season ticket to a UTRGV sport during the 2020-21 athletic season.

The pass can be redeemed for the any of the ticketed sports, including volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball.

To be considered for this opportunity, graduates must be one of the first 200 spring 2020 graduates to submit the form at GoUTRGV.com/YoungAlumniPass.

The submission deadline is June 15, 2020.

“This is a great opportunity for us to congratulate our newest alumni for all their hard work and dedication during their time at UTRGV,” UTRGV Vice President and Director of Athletics Chasse Conque said. “We are so proud of our recent graduates who have shown great resiliency over the past few months. We are thankful for their support, and they will always be part of the Vaqueros family.”

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) was created by the Texas Legislature in 2013 as the first major public university of the 21st century in Texas. This transformative initiative provided the opportunity to expand educational opportunities in the Rio Grande Valley, including a new School of Medicine, and made it possible for residents of the region to benefit from the Permanent University Fund – a public endowment contributing support to the University of Texas System and other institutions.

UTRGV has campuses and off-campus research and teaching sites throughout the Rio Grande Valley including in Boca Chica Beach, Brownsville (formerly The University of Texas at Brownsville campus), Edinburg (formerly The University of Texas-Pan American campus), Harlingen, McAllen, Port Isabel, Rio Grande City, and South Padre Island. UTRGV, a comprehensive academic institution, enrolled its first class in the fall of 2015, and the School of Medicine welcomed its first class in the summer of 2016.
