Director: Edward González-Tennant, PhD, RPA
Bio: Dr. González-Tennant is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. His research focuses on the application of digital technologies in archaeology. He is the founding director of the LVA.
Laboratory Supervisor: Alexa Serna
Bio: Alexa is an undergraduate student interested in the archaeology of Texas, including digital and traditional approaches to analyzing and documenting archaeological materials.
Laboratory Technician: Jacob Rodriguez
Bio: Jacob is an undergraduate student interested in prehistoric archaeology. His primary research interests include lithic analysis.
Laboratory Technician: Pamela Sanchez
Bio: Pamela is an undergraduate student interested in combining traditional and digital approaches to analyzing artifacts via photogrammetry and other methods. Her primary research interests include Texas archaeology and mortuary archaeology.

Laboratory Technician: Jorge Alanis
Bio: Jorge is an undergraduate anthropology student who has undertaken research in Ecuador and South Texas. He works on artifact analysis and photogrammetry.
Laboratory Technician: Amanda Hernandez
Bio: Amanda is currently majoring in anthropology with a concentration in archaeology. Her interests are fieldwork and preservation, with an emphasis on preserving historic metal artifacts via electrolysis.
Laboratory Technician: Arian Perez
Bio: Arian is an undergraduate anthropology student with research interests in historical archaeology, bioarchaeology, and focusing on GIS within digital archaeology.
