Welcome to the UTRGV's Gulf Scholars Program. The UTRGV's GSP trains student scholars to become change agents in participatory action to help create a more sustainable, resilient, and socially just Gulf Region. Over the course of a year (Spring-Summer-Fall), participating student scholars will engage in curricular programing that is interdisciplinary, community engaged and service-learning oriented all regarding the history, the political economy and the cultural aspects of food, water and energy issues in the gulf region.
