Where I am now:

I am an Environmental Science student with a minor in Biology, at The University of Rio Grande Valley out of Brownsville TX, I have interests in conservation and preservation. I have experience with native Plants, collecting data, collecting seeds and also the preparation of soil. I currently work in the Pollinator Garden at UTRGV Brownsville as a student assistant, I gather information for a research project out of Resaca De La Palma State Park, I identify native plants and determine their flowering patterns, I collect native plant seeds species. I’ve tracked visitation frequency of pollinators to focal plants, using time lapse cameras, to compare interactions with insect pollinators.
