Where I am now:
As of January 2025, I have graduated from South Texas College with an Associate of Science in Biology. I am currently in the process of securing a part-time position at my previous internship, an opportunity I was fortunate to gain through the EFAS program. The EFAS program played a huge role in helping me identify my research interests and allowed me to develop new skills and techniques that would have been difficult to get on my own. I plan to further my education by applying to UTRGV to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Marine Science and my own research.
