Exhibit Work

This exhibition serves as the first conceptual realization of the artist residency project I am developing in Mérida, Yucatán. It showcases the vision of a space where artists from various backgrounds and disciplines come together to create, collaborate, and engage with the local environment and traditions.
The works in this exhibition reflect themes of sustainability, cultural identity, and artistic exploration. They highlight the potential for a residency that prioritizes eco-conscious practices, interdisciplinary collaboration, and deep engagement with the land and its histories. The use of natural materials, organic forms, and layered narratives invites viewers to consider the evolving relationship between contemporary art and traditional craft.
Rather than a final statement, this exhibition is an invitation—an opportunity to imagine what an artist residency in Mérida could become. It is the first step in building a space where artists can push creative boundaries, connect with the richness of Yucatán’s culture, and contribute to a lasting artistic legacy.
