After considering various options that appealed to me, I found that creating a luxury restaurant with Mexican roots or a wine company was the closest to what I wanted. Fortunately, both options complement each other perfectly and creating something based on this idea was the next step for my project. Linaje perfectly captures the essence of a past Mexican colonial aesthetic and adapts it to a contemporary and stylized concept without losing the classical essence. This place fuses the Spanish colonial era, revisits in minor details the Italian Renaissance, and later on incorporates an Art Deco twist to create a fine dining restaurant that exudes sophistication. Linaje provides a unique culinary journey that takes guests on an unforgettable experience. The name Linaje means "lineage" in Spanish, and derives from the ancestry or descent of a noble family. The name is used to introduce the viewer to a wonderful experience full of culture and heritage.
Linaje is a fine-dining restaurant located in an old colonial Mexican hacienda that has been completely restored. The hacienda also houses a wine warehouse and a vineyard, further enriching the experience for customers by allowing them to enjoy wine tasting right at their table. Creating a concept that draws on different cultures and incorporates elements from past movements can be challenging, but Linaje, the classical and magical experience, can become a reality. The restaurant is a traditional remembrance with slight modernity which combines different cultures and is perfect for enjoying a magical evening in an atmosphere rich in culture and heritage. Linaje offers a fine dining experience that is both culturally diverse and uniquely memorable.
