Exhibit Work
For my final project while in college I’ve decided to create a heavy metal band called Hellvetik. I figured it’d be nice to re-visit the first music genre I was introduced to at a young age and create graphics for a heavy metal band. My work consists of illustration heavy designs as the sole reason why I’ve pursued this career is due to my passion for illustration. Inspirations for me during this project were all mainly based off of some of Metallica’s graphic art created by the artist Pushead. The intricate line work in his art is what draws my attention towards it as line work is a skill I seek to always improve.
Outside of that my main art inspirations come from manga art such as the art of the late Kentaro Miura. Being able to take this project in any direction I wish has really enabled me to explore my creativity and put my learned skills to the test. I look forward to graduation so that I can further dive into improving my illustrative skills and create a career out of my passion.
