This restaurant was inspired by my exploration of the valley, in which I saw that it does not consist of many places where people can gather together and experience a friendly picnic environment where they can be comfortable in the outdoors while enjoying a meal or snacks and have fun, thus I decided to create Terry’s. Terry’s is a picnic restaurant where families, friends, and partners can come together and enjoy their time while being seated in a picnic area. Whether you like being outdoors or indoors, there are different seating options for everyone, such as picnic blankets, and picnic tables outdoors or picnic tables indoors. Along with this picnic restaurant, there is a menu that consists of many delicious options in order to fit everyone's preference. Whether it is a full course meal, snacks, customized charcuterie boards or desserts, Terry’s has it all.
The design for this project involves a warm, comfortable outdoor setting that involves a lot of modern and trendy styles. This concept dives into the fusion of a restaurant and a picnic setting in order to unite people together with the outdoors and have fun. The type choice and design in the menu follows the fusion of being a restaurant and the outdoors with its modern and stylistic approach, meanwhile following the color palette of the restaurant. The color palette chosen represents the fresh, warm, comfortable feeling you have when having fun on a picnic with those you are comfortable with.
